Acute Safety LLC is an authorized trainer for SafeGulf and SafeLand. Below you will find other safety training courses we offer at Acute Safety. If you need to be trained in a course not listed below please contact one of our safety experts and we will be happy to develop a course for you. We can design customized safety training programs for your employees and supervisors, since no two companies are identical.
No time to travel to our training locations? No problem, we will come to you and carry out on-site training at your location. Upon request we can also offer courses to be taught in Spanish.

Acute Safety Basic Safety Orientation - 8-10 hrs.
This is an 8-10 hour course that includes all areas needed by any new employee to work in the oil and gas industry. This course can be modified to meet any requirements for any company. 10 hours if you include H2S training. Training is valid for 3 years.
Acute Safety Refresher Course - 4 hrs.
This is a 4 hour course that offers a refresher to the Acute Safety Basic Safety Orientation. We recommend that the refresher is taken annually to ensure that each employee is properly aware of the new safety advances made each year in the oil and gas industry.
SafeLand/PEC/Premier Core Course - 7 hrs.
This is a 7 hour course that was designed to cover all areas that SafeGulf covers without the offshore component. It allows each student to have all the required teaching for on-shore operations. Training is valid for 1 year.
SafeGulf/PEC/Premier Core Complaince Course - 24 hrs.
This is a 24 hour/3 day course, directed by the SafeGulf Alliance and follows the guidelines of the Petroleum Education Council and uses PEC material. Some material has been added by Acute Safety to enhance the students' learning experience. Training is valid for 1 year.
SafeGulf/PEC/Premier Basic Safety Awareness Orientation Course - 8 hrs.
This is an 8 hour course that was designed to take the place of multiple operator orientations and the give the student a general idea of life and safety issues in the oil and gas industry for upstream, downstream, and offshore.
SafeGulf/PEC/Premier Core Refresher - 8 hrs.
This is an 8 hour course that can be utilized to keep an employee's training records current. A student must have previously completed the Core Compliance program. Training is valid for 1 year.
Hydrogen Sulfide Awareness (H2S) - 4 hrs.
This is an 4 hour course that teaches students to learn all Hydrogen Sulfide Safety Awareness required by OSHA and recommended by ANSI, including characteristics, dangers, diction, and reaction to sour gas presence. Training is valid for 3 year.
First Aid - 4 hrs.
This is a 4 hour course that is the standard Medic First Aid course. The course includes legal issues, how to provide first aid, CPR, and how to prevent further injuries. All training material and workbook included. Training is valid for 2 years
Forklift Operator Safety Certification Course - 4 hrs.
This is a 4 hour course that covers the safety guidelines established by OSHA and aims to raise awareness about the dangers of operating a forklift while also teaching how to operate it in a safe manner. Training is valid for 3 years.
Hazwoper Awareness Level 1 - 8 hrs.
This is an 8 hour course, this Hazardous Waste Operations Emergency Response program is specifically designed to fulfill OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 and many other regulations. Training is valid for 1 year.
Hazwoper First Responder - Operations Level 2 - 8 hrs.
This is an 8 hour course that is taught to people how already have obtained their Hazwoper Awareness Level 1. Training is valid for 1 year.
Hazwoper Technician - 40 hrs.
This is a 5 day, 40 hour course that is taught to students and has no prerequisites. Any student who has Hazwoper Level 1 & 2 within the previous year will be able to deduct those hours from the total 40 hour course. Training is valid for 1 year.
OSHA Compliance - 40 hrs.
This is a multi-day course where students learn about OSHA regulations and how to comply with them, OSHA Legislation 29CFR 1910.120. Training is valid for 1 year.
